Advanced Neuromuscular Bite and Occlusal Reline

This single-day course will train participants regarding what to do after the orthosis has been delivered to the patient. Hands-on experience will be gained by working with an existing orthosis to perform bite analysis and necessary laboratory work.  A re-evaluation will be performed to fine tune the Neuromuscular Bite and lab work will be completed to resurface the orthosis based on the data collected. Participants will then deliver the orthosis with coronoplasty.

Participants are required to bring a fixed or removable orthosis. The orthosis can be one built during CORE II or created any time prior to the start of the course.

The objectives of this course are for the participant to be able to:

  • Identify when a bite addition is necessary using electronic instrumentation or T.E.N.S. alone.
  • Utilize electronic instrumentation to refine the occlusal and postural position.
  • Re-evaluate a refined bite position using electronic instrumentation or T.E.N.S. alone.

This course works in conjunction with Computer-Aided Occlusal Evaluation System however, can be taken separately. See Computer-Aided Occlusal Evaluation System for course details.
