Sam graduated from Sydney University in 1989. Prior to owning his practice he gained experience in general dental practice, and as part-time Clinical Instructor at Sydney University, teaching the undergraduate dental students. He also trained and worked in the U.K., New Zealand, the US and N.S.W. Dr. Guirguis has experience in many aspects of dentistry including post-graduate studies in orthodontics, implants, and cosmetic full mouth rehabilitation. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) as well as a member of various associations including the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics (ICCMO) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He maintains a private practice in Castle Hill, NSW. with his business partner, Dr. Fred Calavassy. Dr Guirguis’ commitment to his dentistry shines through, from the patients he treats, to the dentists he teaches. Along with his clinical and practical approach to teaching, he brings awareness and “real life” examples that may be used by both experienced dentists and new graduates alike. These skills allow him to be a captivating educator who excels at delivering dynamic presentations while maintaining a clinically related focus. Sam has been an LVI clinical instructor since 2003.
