Dr. H. R. Makarita is a 1988 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, and maintains a solo private practice in Oakton, Virginia, with an emphasis on aesthetic reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Makarita, who actively pursues continuing education, has been a member of the AACD since 1995, and received his accreditation in 2001 and his Fellowship in the Academy in 2006. He is a Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, and was recently awarded Mastership status from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. He is a Fellow of the International Academy for Dental Facial Aesthetics, a member of the International College of Cranio-Mandibular Orthopedics, the European Society for Esthetic Dentistry, and a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Makarita has received numerous AACD Smile Gallery awards, and was the recipient of the 2003 People’s Choice Award.
