Discover the interactive and expanding role the dental hygienist can play in the modern LVI practice. Your hygienist will be shown how to "treat to health" in a manageable time frame, and find increasing satisfaction with predictable case acceptance for more than the periodontal issues. There is also a strong emphasis on team participation, and the role hygiene plays in reaching the overall practice goals. This in-office experience is the "missing link" for many LVI style practices.
The objectives of this course are for the participant to:
- Identify Oral Systemic Links - the science and application
- Understand risk assessment and its role in treatment planning
- Explore case management
- Recognize time considerations for treating to health
- Develop restorative recommendations and knowledge of materials
- Utilize chair-side recommendations to introduce occlusal signs and symptoms
- Understand simple secrets to being an effective communicator and unlocking your patient's needs and wants
