This course is designed to teach TEAM a comprehensive approach to scheduling, billing, coding, marketing strategies and communicating with your DSM patients.
This Team course will be presented by three experienced professionals who have over 30 years of combined, hands on experience managing DSM dental practices.
The objectives of this consult are for the participant to be able to:
- Deliver a initial phone call to foster valuable patient-doctor relationships
- Prepare your sleep patient for their initial appointment and answer their “unasked” questions
- Communicate effectively with insurance company representatives to secure preauthorization benefits before consultation
- Gain competence with DSM forms
- Communicate effectively with your patients regarding contracts, informed consent and insurance reimbursement
- Integrate DSM patients to your existing schedule, using a 7 appointment protocol
- Deliver time saving patient triage, office staff communication, and step-by-step protocol for tracking therapy progress
- Provide comprehensive narrative reports and follow up reports to physicians and referring providers
- Utilize Medicare guidelines for coding and billing accurately and effectively
- Follow up and make appeals with insurance agencies to advocate for your patient
- Implement effective marketing strategies that are Team driven
