10th Anniversary

The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies celebrated 10 years of changing dentistry, changing lives on Saturday, October 11, 2008.

LVI Global introduces dental professionals to a revolutionary new kind of dental practice. The kind where artistry replaces antiquity. Where skills replace insurance dependence, where confidence replaces uncertainty, and where mediocrity is replaced forever. A re-dedication ceremony was held at the Summerlin Campus, and was attended by LVI Alumni, instructors, sponsors, employees, friends, family, and Las Vegas businessmen and women. A presentation was made by US Congressman Jon Porter, and proclamations were made by Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and US Senator John Ensign from Nevada.

The festivities honored the vision of LVI Founder and CEO, Dr. William G Dickerson. Highlights included a plaque in his honor to recognize "LVI Lamplighters", a roast by members of the LVI Faculty, an original painting of The Rolling Stones by band member Ron Wood, as well as a very special gift of a custom painted Harley Davidson motorcycle. Gifts were given from LVI Instructors, Sponsors, and Alumni. Dr. Dickerson also learned that the rotunda in the Hillwood Building had been named in his honor, as the campus was re-dedicated.

Dr. Dickerson had the following to say about the honor, “Ten years is the milestone of success in any company's history. And although LVI is 14 years old, the celebration of our ten year old campus was spectacular. I was so honored by the sincere love in the room for those that have been so positively affected by the ‘passion driven purpose’ of LVI that I was speechless. It was FANTASTIC to celebrate an incredible ten years.”
